This is a very good traditional hotel which has been modernised to a high standard and has an excellent central location. Bedrooms are medium-sized on average and are in very good condition. They follow the same traditional design as the rest of the hotel, with paintings and classy furnishings complementing the existing fittings. The new main restaurant is on an upper level and is a more simply- designed room, with contrasting light and dark woods and fabrics. It serves food to a very high standard. It is a traditional stone building, with a renovated cream and dark facade which looks very grand and inspiring. The lobby is medium, with a very high ceiling. The decor sets the tone for the rest of the hotel and is extremely elegant. There is a two-tone marble floor, red leather seating and a light wood and gold brass reception desk.
