The Hotel is the perfect environment for business overnight stays, weekend's away, rugby league fanatics or visiting friends and family. Whether for business or pleasure, the George is the ideal choice. (GW 05/2009) The rooms are medium in size and in very good condition with ensuite Bathrooms, satellite tv, hairdryer, trouser press, direct dial telephone and welcome trays. The decor is very Victorian with patterned wallpaper and matching bedspreads and curtains. The St George's restaurant is renowned for its excellent cuisine with traditional English Cuisine and Yorkshire speciailites. The room is large and spacious with long drapes on the windows. This is a traditional, 5 storey, Victorian building with a pale stone facade: Most impressive building to look at. The hotel lobby is medium in size and elegant in decor with a mahogany reception desk and a few sofas. There is plenty of Space for groups and their luggage.
